Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to own the end-to-end AP function from a remote setup. You will optimize processes, strengthen supplier relationships and support month-end close while ensuring strict controls and timely payments.

The role requires autonomous work in a stand-alone capacity, with expertise in AP automation, ERP (Infor M3), and strong Excel proficiency. Collaboration with Finance and IT is key to achieving efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in end-to-end Accounts Payable in medium to large organisations.
• Autonomous, stand-alone role with proactive ownership of outcomes.
• Experience with AP automation solutions and OCR-enabled platforms.
• FMCG industry knowledge and supplier management experience.
• ERP proficiency, especially Infor M3, with financial module navigation.
• Strong GL posting for non-PO invoices and GRNI awareness.
• Month-end close support and accrual journal posting expertise.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processing and approvals.
• Process supplier invoices via AP automation platform and controls.
• Code non-PO invoices to correct GL accounts and cost centres.
• Prepare and post monthly accrual journals for unreceived invoices.
• Manage payment runs with accuracy and delegation adherence.
• Reconcile supplier statements and GRNI discrepancies.
• Process employee expense claims per policy.
• Lead AP process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Maintain AP data integrity and supplier communications.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and ops to enhance systems.
