Job summary

PeoplePartners is seeking an Accounts Officer (AP & AR) to support an Australian client in a fully remote role. The position covers AP and AR with tasks ranging from GST coding on invoices to reconciling statements and assisting customer queries.

You will manage supplier invoices, code accurately, reconcile accounts, and handle collections and reminders. This is a hands-on finance role with emphasis on accuracy, timelines, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Experience in both AP and AR.
• Understanding of Australian GST and its application.
• Experience working with an accounting ledger.
• Experience processing invoices, payments, receipts and reconciliations.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and code supplier invoices accurately (AP).
• Review invoice coding and Australian GST treatment.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Raise accurate customer invoices and apply receipts (AR).
• Support payment reminders and collections.
• Complete account reconciliations and maintain documentation.
