Job summary

Sharesource is seeking an experienced Accountant to support month-end reporting, reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings strong Australian accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyse financial data to help management make informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance; CPA desirable.
• Strong Australian GST/BAS knowledge and payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger integrity and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial and management reports.
• Review revenue, expenditure, balance sheet movements, and variances; provide explanations.
