Job summary

PMS Primepower Network Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to be assigned in a 4-star hotel in Ortigas. This role comes with cash allowance and free meals.

Responsibilities include processing purchase requisitions and orders, researching suppliers, comparing quotes, maintaining records, coordinating with vendors, and supporting inventory management and reporting for the Procurement team.

Qualifications

• Processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders
• Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders and supplier agreements
• Coordinating with suppliers on order status and pricing
• Assisting with inventory management and stock monitoring
• Communicating procurement queries with internal departments

• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders from various departments within hospitality
• Identify suitable suppliers for hospitality supplies including F&B, linens, toiletries, and equipment
• Compare prices, quality, and terms from multiple suppliers
• Maintain records of all purchase orders and contracts
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules and changes
• Assist in receipt and verification of goods against orders
• Support Purchasing Manager with stock level monitoring
• Respond to procurement queries from internal teams
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies
• Prepare purchasing reports and analysis as required

Purchasing Assistant

Key responsibilities

• Processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders from various departments within the hospitality organisation
• Researching and identifying suitable suppliers and vendors for a wide range of hospitality supplies, including food and beverage items, linens, toiletries, and operational equipment
• Comparing prices, quality, and terms from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive purchasing decisions
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all purchase orders, supplier agreements, and procurement documentation
• Coordinating with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery schedules, and any pricing or product changes
• Assisting in the receipt and verification of ordered goods, ensuring items match purchase orders and quality standards
• Supporting the Purchasing Manager with inventory management and stock level monitoring
• Communicating with internal departments to address procurement queries and provide updates on order status
• Maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement and vendor management
• Assisting with the preparation of purchasing reports and analysis as required
