Job summary

Purple Rice is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Assistant to support procurement of ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely, cost-effective purchases and strong supplier relationships. The role contributes to smooth operations and high-quality dining experiences.

The ideal candidate will manage purchase orders, source suppliers, negotiate pricing, monitor inventory, forecast needs, and uphold food safety and company standards to prevent waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply chain, Hospitality Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 2–4 years' experience of purchasing or procurement, preferably in the restaurant or F&B industry, with a focus on supplier management
• Background in restaurant/bar setup is an advantage
• Willing to be assigned in CAINTA, RIZAL

Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing, prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Source and manage suppliers, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure timely, quality deliveries.
• Monitor inventory, forecast purchasing needs, control costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities while preventing waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and company standards, coordinate with internal teams, and prepare purchasing reports and documentation.
