Qualifications

• Direct public housing or affordable housing compliance experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of public housing documentation and tenant file compliance requirements.
• Experience with HUD or other affordable housing programs is a strong plus.
• Experience conducting tenant file audits, spot checks, or compliance reviews.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify compliance deficiencies.
• Ability to interpret applicable requirements and assess documentation for compliance.
• Comfortable independently reviewing large volumes of electronic files and documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor tenant files to ensure compliance with applicable public housing requirements.
• Conduct regular tenant file audits and spot checks through the company's electronic filing system.
• Verify that tenant file documentation is complete, accurate, current, and properly maintained.
• Identify missing, incomplete, outdated, or non‑compliant documentation and communicate findings to the appropriate team members or management.
• Review compliance‑related documentation and records for accuracy and completeness.
• Review company procedures, processes, and SOPs to ensure alignment with applicable public housing and compliance requirements.
• Track identified compliance issues and outstanding documentation requirements.
• Communicate compliance findings and potential deficiencies to management.
• Assist in maintaining compliant processes and documentation practices.
• Support preparation for internal reviews, external compliance reviews, and audits.
• Maintain organized records of compliance reviews, findings, and outstanding issues.
