Job summary

ZACHRY PHILIPPINES, INC. is seeking a senior project engineer to support planning, execution, and control of complex projects in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and related sectors.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, manage scope, schedules, budgets, and ECNs, and ensure accurate reporting, risk management, and document control throughout the project lifecycle. Ten years of industry experience and exposure to EPC, Front End Loading, FEED, and power projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.).
• Ten (10) years of experience in petrochemical, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceuticals, food, or related industries.
• Exposure to an EPC set-up and operations is an advantage; related to the engineering project cycle from Front End Engineering Design to detailed design.
• Experience with Power Projects, specifically combined cycle, is preferred.
• Understanding of project controls (cost reporting, scheduling, etc.).
• Knowledge of the engineering project cycle from Conceptual, Front-End Loading to FEED to detailed design.

• Coordinates with internal teams to ensure resource availability, software readiness, and effective execution.
• Supports business development estimates, lessons learned activities, and performs other assigned duties as needed.

Job Qualifications:

1. Has a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.). PMP Certification is an advantage but not required.

2. Has at least ten (10) years of experience gained from petrochemical, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceuticals, food, or related industries.

3. Exposure to an EPC set-up and operations is an advantage; such experiences must be related to the engineering project cycle from Front End Engineering Design to detailed design.

4. Experience with Power Projects, specifically combined cycle is preferred.

5. Has an overall understanding of engineering disciplines and project execution.

6. Knowledgeable in all aspects of project controls (cost reporting, scheduling, etc.).

7. Knowledgeable with the engineering project cycle – from Conceptual, Front-End Loading to FEED to detailed design.

8. Has research, analytical, creative problem-solving skills, questioning & feedback, and project & time management skills.

9. Has the ability to clearly communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing.

10. Has the ability to independently organize and prioritize work assignments; coordinate a variety of tasks with good attention to details; ability to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines.
