Job summary

ENERGYCHEM INDUSTRY, INC. seeks a project engineer to provide day-to-day technical support from mobilization through commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant project engineering experience.
• Experience preparing or reviewing engineering designs and submittals.
• Proficient in CAD and engineering software.
• Ability to conduct technical inspections and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support from mobilization through commissioning and handover.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate technical matters with OEMs, principals, vendors, subcontractors, and the Engineering Department; secure timely clarifications when required.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical submittals, equipment requirements, and vendor information against approved specifications.
• Supervise and manage subcontractors during installation; monitor manpower, work progress, quality, safety, and adherence to drawings, work plans, and site schedules.
• Conduct or support technical inspections, testing, commissioning activities, performance validation, and punch-list closeout.
• Identify technical risks, field issues, and design or installation concerns; recommend solutions and elevate material issues promptly.
• Prepare accurate technical reports, inspection records, test results, correspondence, and project documentation in accordance with ECI requirements.
• Support training and technical handover activities for equipment operation, maintenance, and client acceptance.
• Ensure engineering work complies with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, safety requirements, and ECI workflows.
• Work with the Project Manager and Project Superintendent to meet project scope, quality, schedule, and coordination requirements.

• Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering designs, technical drawings, calculations, equipment specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate technical matters with OEMs, principals, vendors, subcontractors, and the Engineering Department; secure timely clarifications when required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• At least three to five years of relevant project engineering experience; industrial project experience is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge, analytical ability, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience preparing or reviewing engineering designs, equipment specifications, technical submittals, and project documentation.
• Working proficiency in CAD and relevant engineering software.
• Ability to conduct technical inspections, support testing and commissioning, and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear technical reports.
• Willingness and ability to work at project sites and travel as required.

PREFERRED PROFILE

• Experience in industrial systems, energy solutions, marine and power applications, or equipment integration projects.

• Professional engineering license or relevant technical certifications are an advantage.
