ZACHRY PHILIPPINES, INC. seeks an experienced Project Controls Engineer to support planning, execution, and control of large engineering projects in the petrochemical and related industries. The role involves defining scope, schedules, budgets, and ensuring client alignment.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 10+ years in relevant industries, and strong project controls knowledge. PMP is an advantage; EPC exposure and power project experience are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.). PMP Certification is an advantage but not required.
• Ten years of experience in petrochemical, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceuticals, food, or related industries.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the Project Manager in planning, executing, and controlling projects, including scope, schedule, budget, manpower, and quality.
• Assists in defining work scope, preparing and updating schedules and budgets, and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Monitors project performance, identifies risks and issues, manages ECNs, and ensures timely resolution and accurate budget/schedule adjustments.
• Prepares and updates project reports, action lists, and documentation; ensures proper project controls, communication, and document management.
• Coordinates with internal teams (engineering, IT, project controls) to ensure resource availability, software readiness, and effective execution.
• Supports business development estimates, lessons learned activities, and performs other assigned duties as needed.

Job Description:

2. Assists in defining work scope, preparing and updating schedules and budgets, and ensuring alignment with client expectations.

3. Monitors project performance, identifies risks and issues, manages ECNs, and ensures timely resolution and accurate budget/schedule adjustments.

4. Prepares and updates project reports, action lists, and documentation; ensures proper project controls, communication, and document management.

5. Coordinates with internal teams (engineering, IT, project controls) to ensure resource availability, software readiness, and effective execution.

6. Supports business development estimates, lessons learned activities, and performs other assigned duties as needed.

Job Qualifications:

1. Has a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.). PMP Certification is an advantage but not required.

2. Has at least ten (10) years of experience gained from petrochemical, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceuticals, food, or related industries.

3. Exposure to an EPC set-up and operations is an advantage; such experiences must be related to the engineering project cycle from Front End Engineering Design to detailed design.

4. Experience with Power Projects, specifically combined cycle is preferred.

5. Has an overall understanding of engineering disciplines and project execution.

6. Knowledgeable in all aspects of project controls (cost reporting, scheduling, etc.).

7. Knowledgeable with the engineering project cycle – from Conceptual, Front-End Loading to FEED to detailed design.

8. Has research, analytical, creative problem-solving skills, questioning & feedback, and project & time management skills.

9. Has the ability to clearly communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing.

10. Has the ability to independently organize and prioritize work assignments; coordinate a variety of tasks with good attention to details; ability to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines.
