Role Description

The Procurement & Asset Custodian role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pasay. This role is responsible for sourcing and purchasing supplies, equipment, and services needed for logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement aligned with company policies. The Procurement & Asset Custodian will manage inventory and asset records, monitor stock levels, oversee asset tagging and tracking, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain accurate documentation. Daily tasks include preparing purchase requests and orders, reviewing quotations, reconciling delivery receipts with purchase documents, and maintaining organized files for audit and compliance purposes. The role also involves conducting periodic asset checks, supporting warehouse and operations teams with material availability, and contributing to process improvements in procurement and asset management.

Qualifications

• Procurement and sourcing skills, including vendor evaluation, price comparison, and negotiation for supplies and services.
• Inventory and asset management capabilities, such as asset tracking, stock monitoring, and basic warehousing coordination.
• Administrative and documentation skills, including accurate record-keeping, filing of purchase and delivery documents, and report preparation.
• Basic financial and analytical skills, including understanding of purchase budgets, cost control, and reconciliation of records.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email) and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with operations, warehouse teams, and external suppliers.
• Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in logistics, procurement, or asset management is an advantage, especially within courier or freight forwarding operations.
