Job summary

Microgenesis Business Systems is seeking a Solutions Engineer/SDI Engineer who partners with sales to translate customer needs into tailored architectures. You will conduct technical presentations, design network architectures, develop PoCs, and collaborate with BTSG, TSD, and engineering to ensure viable solutions and smooth handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, ECE or related field.
• At least 1 year experience in solutions engineering or pre-sales.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in security and data-center technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking.
• Outstanding communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel to meet customers.
• Experience in Storage, Servers, Hyperconverged, Virtualization and Security.
• Willingness to render extra hours, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to identify opportunities and propose solutions.
• Prepare tailored Bills of Materials with BSMs, distributors, and principals.
• Conduct technical demonstrations to showcase products and services.
• Design Network Architecture based on customer requirements.
• Develop and deliver PoCs to prove feasibility.
• Support RFPs, RFIs, and technical inquiries throughout the sales cycle.
• Coordinate with BTSG, TSD, and engineering to ensure viable solutions.
• Communicate status and resolve issues across departments.
• Handover to implementation team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
• Complete required product training and certifications.
• Prioritize customer satisfaction and resolve technical issues.
• Submit daily/weekly reports to supervisor.
• Support broader sales goals as needed.
