Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a General Manager - Philippines for a rapidly growing fintech client in Taguig. You will lead business development, operations, and market expansion in the Philippines, reporting to the Board and regional leadership, and serving as the local face of the company.

You will build strategic partnerships, engage regulators and financial institutions, supervise local teams, ensure governance and regulatory compliance, and translate market insights into growth initiatives across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance/economics/law or related field.
• 8–15 years in fintech/financial services, banking, digital payments or related industries.
• Experience in leadership, business development, government relations or strategic management.
• Strong understanding of Philippine fintech and digital financial services ecosystem.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies to drive Philippines market expansion.
• Lead overall business development, market expansion and commercial initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with government authorities, regulators, banks and partners.
• Represent the company at industry events, meetings and government discussions.
• Oversee local operations, governance, and compliance with internal teams.
