MatchaTalent is seeking a Business Director – Philippines to lead the company’s growth and operations in the Philippines, reporting to the board and regional leadership. You will drive business development, partnerships, regulatory engagement, and market expansion, building a high-performing local team and serving as the senior local representative.

The role requires deep knowledge of fintech, digital payments, and financial services in the Philippine market, with strong strategic and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field. Master's Degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth in the Philippines.
• Lead overall business development, market expansion, and commercial initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, regulators, financial institutions, business partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Represent the company in key industry events, business meetings, government discussions, and strategic partnerships.
• Monitor developments in the Philippine fintech, digital finance, and financial services industry.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential market expansion initiatives.
• Work closely with regional and global management to execute the company's strategic objectives.
• Oversee local business operations and ensure effective organizational performance.
• Support regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance activities together with relevant internal teams.
• Provide market insights and strategic recommendations to the Board and global leadership.
• Build and develop a strong local team as the business grows.
