Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines is seeking a CPS Performance and Rewards Senior Specialist to manage end-to-end compensation, benefits, and performance management operations and support payroll activities.

You will coordinate enrollments, payroll transactions, terminations, reconciliations, and reporting across the employee lifecycle while ensuring governance and data privacy compliance.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of payroll and benefits operations experience, including end-to-end payroll processing, benefits administration, payroll validation, reconciliations, and year-end activities.
  • Experience supporting multi-country payroll operations, preferably APAC/Europe or other international regions.
  • Background in Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), BPO, SSO, or outsourced payroll environments is highly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and payroll data analysis skills with reconciliations, variance analysis, data validation, and payroll reporting.
  • Strong understanding of payroll governance, internal controls, data privacy, and handling confidential employee information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Management, or related field.
  • Self-directed and results-oriented with ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Execute, validate, and coordinate compensation, benefits, performance management, and payroll processes across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Ensure process accuracy, compliance, and adherence to policies, controls, governance standards, and SLAs.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Local People Services, payroll vendors, benefits providers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
  • Lead the resolution of complex payroll issues, discrepancies, escalations, and operational risks through root cause analysis.
  • Drive process standardization, efficiency improvements, automation opportunities, and service enhancements.
  • Maintain process documentation and knowledge repositories, support onboarding and knowledge transfer, and coach team members.
  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational performance; escalate risks and dependencies.

Role Summary

As a Performance and Rewards Senior Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for managing end-to-end compensation, benefits, and performance management operations and supporting payroll activities.

  • Execute, validate, and coordinate compensation, benefits, performance management, and payroll processes across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of enrollments, payroll transactions, terminations, reconciliations, reporting requirements, and audit-related activities.
  • Ensure process accuracy, compliance, and adherence to policies, controls, requirements, governance standards, and service level agreements.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Local People Services, payroll vendors, benefits providers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, issue resolution, and service excellence.
  • Lead the resolution of complex payroll issues, discrepancies, escalations, and operational risks through effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Drive process standardization, efficiency improvements, automation opportunities, and service enhancements to improve employee and stakeholder experience.
  • Maintain process documentation and knowledge repositories, support onboarding and knowledge transfer activities, and coach team members on BAU operations and best practices.
  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational performance, facilitate stakeholder discussions, provide strategic recommendations, manage workload distribution, and proactively escalat risks and dependencies.

What We Are Looking For
  • At least 3 to 5 years of payroll and benefits operations experience, with strong exposure to end-to- end payroll processing, compensation and benefits administration, payroll validation, reconciliations, statutory compliance, employee inquiries, and year-end activities.
  • Experience supporting multi-country payroll operations, preferably across APAC, Europe, or other international regions.
  • Background in Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), BPO, SSO, or outsourced payroll environments is highly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and payroll data analysis skills, with demonstrated ability to perform reconciliations, variance analysis, data validation, and payroll reporting.
  • Solid understanding of payroll governance, internal controls, audit requirements, data privacy, and the handling of confidential employee information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Self-directed and results-oriented, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
