Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines is seeking a CPS Performance and Rewards Expert to manage end-to-end payroll operations and support compensation, benefits, and performance activities. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll operations experience with end-to-end payroll processing.
• Experience supporting multi-country payroll operations (APAC/Europe) preferred.
• Background in Shared Services, Global Business Services, BPO, SSO, or outsourced payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll compliance (BIR, annualization, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
• Advanced Excel and payroll data analysis skills.
• Understanding of payroll governance, internal controls, and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and validate compensation, benefits, performance management, and payroll activities from start to finish.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and governance with policies and SLAs.
• Partner with HR, Finance, local People Services, payroll vendors and stakeholders for timely delivery and issue resolution.
• Lead resolution of complex payroll issues, discrepancies, escalations, and risks with root-cause analysis.
• Drive process standardization, efficiency improvements, and automation opportunities.
• Maintain process documentation and support onboarding and knowledge transfer to team members.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and elevate risks as needed.

Role Summary

As a Performance and Rewards Senior Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations and supporting compensation, benefits, and performance management activities.

• Manage and validate compensation, benefits, performance management, and payroll activities across the full process lifecycle, from payroll preparation through post-payroll reconciliation, reporting, and audit support.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and adherence to policies, controls, statutory requirements, governance standards, and service level agreements.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Local People Services, payroll vendors, benefits providers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, issue resolution, and service excellence.
• Lead the resolution of complex payroll issues, discrepancies, escalations, and operational risks through effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive process standardization, efficiency improvements, automation opportunities, and service enhancements to improve employee and stakeholder experience.
• Maintain process documentation and knowledge repositories, support onboarding and knowledge transfer activities, and coach team members on BAU operations and best practices.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational performance, facilitate stakeholder discussions, provide strategic recommendations, manage workload distribution, and proactively elevate risks and dependencies.

About the Team

What We Are Looking For

• At least 3 to 5 years of payroll operations experience, with strong exposure to end-to- end payroll processing, compensation and benefits administration, payroll validation, reconciliations, statutory compliance, employee inquiries, and year-end activities.
• Experience supporting multi-country payroll operations, preferably across APAC, Europe, or other international regions.
• Background in Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), BPO, SSO, or outsourced payroll environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll compliance, including BIR withholding tax, annualization, year-end tax processing, Form 2316, Alphalist reporting, and statutory contributions such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
• Advanced Excel and payroll data analysis skills, with demonstrated ability to perform reconciliations, variance analysis, data validation, and payroll reporting.
• Solid understanding of payroll governance, internal controls, audit requirements, data privacy, and the handling of confidential employee information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
• Self-directed and results-oriented, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
