Job summary

Infinit-O is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Metro Manila to manage bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing, conduct audits, and resolve payroll and tax questions from employees. The role requires collaboration with HR and Benefits, and supports month-end close while ensuring GAAP compliance and local regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years of accounting experience, and experience in Netsuite or Workday, preferably within a SaaS/tech

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA/CPP is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years general accounting experience.
• Experience with Netsuite and Workday for payroll processing.
• Prior SaaS/tech industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

About the role

The Payroll Specialist performs all day-to-day payroll processing for bi-weekly and monthly payroll, conducting payroll audits to ensure adherence to application policies and regulations. This role resolves complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues, answers payroll and tax related questions from employees, and ensures payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and all local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all day-to-day payroll processing for bi-weekly and monthly payroll, conducting payroll audits to ensure adherence to application policies and regulations
• Resolve complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing and answer payroll and tax related questions from employees
• Ensure payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and all local regulations
• Support monthly and quarterly close by reconciling payroll accounts
• Review and analyze month/quarter end compensation accruals and expenses by region, state, franchise brand or restaurant
• Review and implement process improvements for employee adherence to published T&E policies and audits
• Maintenance and management of transactions related to 606 commissions
• Collaborate with HR on employee hires, changes, and terminations
• Collaborate with Benefits on payroll related deductions and benefit changes and updates
• Support payroll audits for execution of statutory and US GAAP financial statements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance, CPA or CPP is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years general accounting experience
• Advanced PC and/or Macbook skills, specifically with Word, Excel spreadsheets, Google Docs and downloading, importing and exporting files and google suite
• Experience with Netsuite and Workday
• Prior experience within SaaS/tech industry preferred or work with SaaS/tech clients
• Knowledge of operational accounting processes
• Knowledge of operational payroll processes
• Strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal partners on issues and provide recommendations
• Possess excellent attention to detail; excellent analytical, and reconciliation skills
