Job summary

Valor Global Philippines is seeking a payroll specialist to manage bi-weekly and monthly payroll for a large workforce. You will ensure accurate timekeeping, compute and remit government contributions, and handle deductions and inquiries with professionalism.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years in payroll processing, preferably in a BPO environment. Strong Excel and HRIS skills are essential to maintain precise payroll records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
• 1–3 years in payroll processing, preferably in BPO.
• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Payroll/HRIS software.
• Strong knowledge of local labor codes and wage laws.

• Compute and process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for a high volume of employees.
• Review and reconcile timekeeping and attendance logs.

• Review and reconcile timekeeping and attendance logs from biometric or workforce management systems.
• Calculate and remit government-mandated contributions (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and local taxes accurately.
• Process deductions for loans, health insurance, and other company-approved benefits.
• Address payroll-related queries, discrepancies, and requests from employees and management in a professional and timely manner.
• Generate regular payroll registers, variance reports, and accounting summaries for auditing and management review.
