Job summary

Valor Global is seeking a payroll professional in the Philippines to manage end-to-end payroll cycles, ensure accurate tax withholdings, and generate monthly labor cost reports. The role requires 1–3 years of payroll experience and strong Excel skills.

You will handle government remittances, respond to employee inquiries, and ensure compliance with local regulations while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance, or HR.
• 1–3 years payroll processing experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and complex formulas).
• Familiarity with HRIS or payroll software (SAP/Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of local labor standards and tax guidelines.
• High attention to detail and integrity with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll cycles, including gross-to-net calculations.
• Audit biometric logs, night differentials, overtime, and holiday pay.
• Ensure accurate withholding and timely remittance of government benefits.
• Act as primary contact for employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies.

• Manage end-to-end payroll cycles, including the calculation of gross-to-net earnings, deductions, bonuses, and government-mandated benefits.
• Audit and reconcile biometric logs, night differentials, overtime, and holiday pay in accordance with shifting schedules.
• Ensure accurate withholding and timely filing of government remittances (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR).
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding pay discrepancies, tax concerns, and final pay computations.
• Prepare monthly payroll registers, labor cost reports, and variance analyses for management review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within the BPO or shared services industry.
• * Proficiency in MS Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, and complex formulas).
• Familiarity with HRIS or Payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local payroll platforms).
• Deep understanding of local labor standards, tax classifications, and statutory benefit requirements.
