Connext is seeking a Payment Recovery Specialist to join our USA client-facing team. You will manage denials, underpayments, and escalated payment issues from payers, ensuring accounts are billed correctly and resolved promptly.

What is the job?

The Payment Recovery Specialist is responsible in managing denials, underpayments, and escalated payment issues from payers.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct root-cause analysis of denials to identify process improvements.
• Synthesize complex or diverse data and design workflows and procedures.
• Collaborate with team and management on appeals, including drafting letters to payors and follow-up on denials.
• Ensure accounts are paid according to contract guidelines and agreements.
• Use contract matrices to calculate reimbursement accurately.
• Identify and resolve payment issues proactively.
• Process payments and answer related inquiries from internal and external customers.
