Connext Global Solutions Inc is seeking an A/R Follow-up Specialist to work with a US-based client. The role involves managing outstanding insurance claims, pursuing timely reimbursements, and resolving claim issues across payer portals and EMR systems.

You will review EOBs/ERAs, communicate with carriers, submit appeals, and coordinate with billing, coding, and credentialing teams. HIPAA and patient confidentiality are essential. Great benefits and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance follow-up, medical billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
• Experience using EMR/EHR, practice management systems, and payer portals.

Responsabilités

• Review and follow up on outstanding insurance claims to secure timely payment.
• Investigate denied, rejected, and underpaid claims, identify root causes, and determine resolutions.
• Contact insurance carriers via phone, payer portals, and written correspondence to resolve issues.
• Submit corrected claims, appeals, and required supporting documentation.
• Review EOBs and ERAs to reconcile payments and adjustments.
• Ensure payments, adjustments, and write-offs are posted accurately and documented.
• Maintain documentation of follow-up activities in the billing system.
• Monitor aging and prioritize accounts based on filing limits.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, credentialing, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Respond to patient and insurance inquiries regarding billing and claim status.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time targets.
• Support process improvement initiatives and departmental goals.

We are currently looking for a A/R Follow-up Specialist who will be working with Connext's Client in the United States of America.

What is the job?

The A/R Follow-up Specialist is responsible for managing outstanding insurance claims to support timely and accurate reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

• Review and follow up on outstanding insurance claims to secure timely payment.
• Investigate denied, rejected, and underpaid claims, identify root causes, and determine appropriate resolutions.
• Contact insurance carriers through phone, payer portals, and written correspondence to resolve claim issues.
• Submit corrected claims, appeals, and required supporting documentation.
• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERAs) to reconcile payments and adjustments.
• Ensure payments, adjustments, and contractual write-offs are accurately posted and documented.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of claim follow-up activities in the billing system.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and prioritize accounts based on timely filing limits and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, credentialing, and other internal teams to resolve claim issues.
• Respond professionally to patient and insurance inquiries regarding billing and claim status.
• Maintain the confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI) and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and turnaround time expectations.
• Support process improvement initiatives and departmental goals.

Qualifications:
