Job summary

GoLean Health is seeking a Patient Care Communications Specialist in Manila to manage high-volume patient calls, texts, and scheduling. You will ensure a warm, calm, and professional experience across calls, SMS, emails, and scheduling workflows using MacPractice.

The ideal candidate has strong English communication, prior healthcare support experience, and the ability to multitask across calls, texts, emails, voicemails, and scheduling tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent.
• Strong written communication for SMS, email, and patient messages.
• Experience as Virtual Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, or similar healthcare support role.
• Able to handle high call volume in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Proactive, punctual, and able to work from a Mac OS device.
• Reliable high-speed wired internet required.
• Flexible with schedule and Saturdays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls professionally and promptly.
• Respond to texts, voicemails, emails, and faxes in a timely manner.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments in MacPractice, including intake.
• Prioritize new inquiries and referral opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up and reactivation outreach to book appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling notes.
• Coordinate with in-office staff to keep schedules full and organized.
• De-escalate scheduling, billing, or insurance concerns with empathy.
• Support missed-call follow-up workflows and HIPAA compliance.
