Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods such as bread, pastries, and desserts

• Maintain consistency and quality of all pastry items according to company standards

• Support the development and execution of new pastry offerings

• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation of the work area

• Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and supplies

• Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines

• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations

• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Vocational/culinary training is an advantage

• Strong interest in baking and pastry arts

• Willingness to learn and be trained by a professional pastry chef

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Good work ethic, attention to detail, and reliable

• Team player with a positive attitude
