Job summary

KMZD GROUP in Taguig is seeking a Parts Ordering Staff to prepare part orders using DA, SR, TPN, PR, LPSO and other tools to support production requirements. You will maintain non-productive parts inventories and coordinate with vendors.

The ideal candidate is a BS in Engineering graduate with at least 1 year of experience in materials ordering and inventory management and has strong MS Office skills. Attention to lead times, reorder points, and delivery frequency is important.

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare part orders through various ordering tools (DA, SR, TPN, PR, LPSO, NPMSR/IPMSR) to support production requirements.
• Maintain Non-Productive/Indirect Parts materials databases for DA, SR, TPN and other ordering tools.
• Assist superior in establishing ordering parameters like lead-time, re-order point, economic order quantity, optimum inventory levels, delivery size and frequency.
• Monitor actual delivery and usage of materials against plan and recommend countermeasures for variances.
• Prepare Shipping Advice for ship-out of materials to suppliers and sub-contractors and monitor accordingly.
• Prepare SA for rejected and borrowed materials and return of empty containers.
• Monitor line losses and initiate additional orders via TPN or other tools.
• Coordinate with other departments for potential problems and help formulate countermeasures.
• Communicate with vendors regarding part order deliveries and expedite critical parts.
• Maintain equitable sharing of orders for materials with multiple vendors per Purchasing Office guidelines.

About the role

Parts Ordering Staff responsible for preparing part orders through various ordering tools such as Delivery Authorization (DA), Shipping Release (SR), Travelling Purchase Notice (TPN), Purchase Requisition (PR), Local Parts Supplementary Order (LPSO), and NPMSR/IPMSR to support production requirements. The role involves maintaining materials databases, monitoring delivery and usage of materials, and coordinating with vendors and other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare part orders through various ordering tools such as DA, SR, TPN, PR, LPSO, NPMSR/IPMSR as required, supporting production requirements
• Maintain Non-Productive/Indirect Parts materials databases for computerized generation of DA, SR, TPN and other ordering tools
• Assist immediate superior in establishing ordering parameters such as lead-time, re-order point, economic order quantity, optimum level of inventory, delivery size, and delivery frequency
• Monitor actual delivery and usage of materials against plan and recommend countermeasures for noted variances and discrepancies
• Prepare Shipping Advice (SA) for ship-out of materials and components to suppliers and sub-contractors, and set up appropriate monitoring tools
• Prepare SA for rejected and borrowed materials as well as return of empty containers to vendors
• Monitor line losses, damages, and other additional requirements and initiate additional orders through TPN or applicable ordering tools
• Coordinate with other departments for potential problems and assist in formulation of countermeasures
• Communicate with vendors regarding part order deliveries and expedite critical parts
• Maintain equitable sharing of orders for materials with multiple vendors in accordance with guidelines and policies set by the Purchasing Office
