Job summary

Cohu, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Demand Planner to validate material availability for Sales Orders, manage PRs in MRP, and coordinate with Program Managers.

The role requires 1 year in Demand Planning or Inventory Management, and strong MS Office, data analytics, and ERP skills.

You will work with Warehousing and Order Management to ensure timely shipments and accurate work orders for Slot-In or LLI, with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in Demand Planning, Supply Chain or Inventory Management.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of data analytics and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Validate availability of parts for Sales Orders via material review and PRs in MRP.
• Monitor OH parts; coordinate with planners and Program Managers for order monitoring.
• Prepare shipment requests and ensure proper stock reservation for Work Orders.
• Create and edit Work Orders for OH parts; coordinate pre-production for Slot-In/LLI.
• Update Work Order items per Engineering Change Disposition; perform ad hoc tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform material review to validate availability of the parts required for the Sales Order. Perform material Purchase Request required for the Sales OrderValidate that items are fully secured with PO/TXO on PR is completed in MRPEnsure material request dates match the schedule/priorityFor Slot-In or LLI, ensure material list is tally with the items identified by Program ManagerMonitor the list of purchase requests and work orders with reference coordinated with respective planners and Program Managers for Sales order monitoring purposes.

Perform request for shipment of parts based on shipment schedule and priority given by Program Manager. Monitor and update the status of OH parts and follow up with Order management team for approval of shipment.

Create and edit work orders based on requirements for OH parts for re-inspection and make parts related with Slot-In or LLI request. Perform pick slips release for OH parts, ensuring correct reservation of the stock to the work orders. Perform & coordinate pre-production activities for all parts of Slot-in or LLI.Work closely with the Warehouse for OH parts; ensuring quality acceptance before shipment.

Perform Work Order items update as instructed in the Engineering Change Disposition process; ensuring that the correct items, revision and quantity are being booked in work orders for OH parts, Slot-In or LLI.Any tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time.
