The role requires handling rejection professionally, maintaining meticulous records, and communicating effectively with facilities managers, IT directors, and procurement contacts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B cold calling, telemarketing, or outbound sales.
• Experience setting appointments for a sales team or closer.
• Strong English, clear and professional phone presence.

Responsibilities

• Research and compile prospect contact information from public sources.
• Build and maintain clean, accurate call lists with verified details.
• Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to B2B prospects in education, commercial, and institutional sectors.
• Qualify leads by identifying decision-makers, timelines, and budget authority.
• Book qualified appointments and discovery meetings for the sales team.
• Manage follow-up sequences for prospects not yet ready.
• Log call activity, outcomes, and notes in CRM or tracking system.
• Monitor bid and procurement sites for new opportunities and flag leads.
• Report weekly on outreach volume, connect rates, appointments booked, and conversions.
• Continuously clean and update lead lists, removing outdated contacts.
