Job summary

Teemcorp Staff Solutions Inc. seeks an On-site Bookkeeper for an Australian client in Western Australia to manage payables, receivables, and daily financial ops using Xero.

Requires 2–4 years in corporate bookkeeping, hands-on Xero and Excel, and a strong grasp of double-entry and bank reconciliations. You will work from our office with procurement and supplier coordination for accurate records.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of demonstrated success in corporate bookkeeping, accounts payable, or transactional accounting.
• Proven, hands-on experience utilizing Xero accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, bank reconciliation workflows, and supplier internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Procurement Officer on-site to systematically enter, code, and review supplier invoices
• Facilitate client billing by raising customer invoices and proactively following up on overdue customer balances
• Accurately process, allocate, and match payments and remittances within the ledger
• Perform regular bank transaction entries and detailed reconciliations, with a specific focus on high-volume flight and accommodation expenses
• Check incoming supplier statements against the general ledger, set up new supplier profiles, and meticulously verify bank details to prevent fraud
• Investigate and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies swiftly, serving as the primary point of contact for supplier and customer account queries
• Prepare weekly summaries of outstanding payables and maintain organized Xero records alongside physical and digital supporting documentation
• Manage the weekly fuel usage worksheet and provide additional operational support as required
