Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to provide end-to-end bookkeeping services for multiple Australian clients. You will process transactions, maintain the general ledger in Xero, handle AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations, and support monthly reporting for BAS and compliance.

The role offers Work From Home flexibility, equipment provided, and competitive benefits. Prior experience with MYOB, QuickBooks, and Australian payroll is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field is advantageous.
• Minimum 3–4 years of Australian bookkeeping experience.
• Strong knowledge of Xero is essential.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, AP and AR.
• Knowledge of Australian GST, BAS, STP and superannuation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple Australian clients.
• Record financial transactions and maintain general ledger in Xero.
• Manage accounts payable, including bill uploads and payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing and reconciliation.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare payroll reports and payroll processing.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packs for BAS and compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Collaborate with senior bookkeepers and accountants to ensure timely task completion.
