Job summary

BDO Network Bank in the Philippines seeks an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan volume targets while preserving profitability, credit quality, and customer service.

You will actively solicit microfinance loan accounts through field visits, assess applicants, initiate credit and collection activities, coordinate with units, and maintain loan files to support processing and booking.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree program.
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must be amenable to doing field work / working on the field on an almost daily basis.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with word processing & spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by field visits to meet business needs.
• Analyze overall loan applicant qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
