Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan targets while ensuring profitability and sound credit quality. You will engage in field visits, assess loan applicants, and coordinate processing and servicing with relevant units.

The role emphasizes active soliciting, customer service, and timely credit actions to support growth of MSME lending across communities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or four- to five-year degree is required.
Strong selling, communication, and customer service skills are necessary.
Willingness to perform field work on a near daily basis.
Basic mathematical knowledge is expected.
Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software is preferred.
Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts through field visits to meet customer needs.
Analyze loan applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
Initiate credit and collection activities to maintain credit quality.
Coordinate with officers and units handling processing and servicing of loan applications and clients.
Review and update loan files and agreements for credit processing and booking adequacy.
Execute sales/marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
