Job summary

BDO Network Bank in the Philippines seeks an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to drive loan volume while maintaining profitability and credit quality. You will actively solicit microfinance loan accounts and analyze applicants to determine feasibility, ensuring timely processing and strong customer service.

The role requires basic math skills, proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets, and fieldwork or sales experience in microfinance.

Qualifications

Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course.
Good selling, communication and customer service skills.
Basic mathematical knowledge.
Familiar with word processing & spreadsheets.
Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance preferred.
Willing to drive a motorcycle.
Willing to work in Baler or Casiguran.

Responsibilities

Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer.
Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets.
