Job summary

BDO Unibank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan volume targets while maintaining profitability and good service. You will solicit microfinance loan accounts, assess applicant qualifications, and coordinate processing with various units.

Responsibilities include reviewing loan files, initiating credit/collection activities, and executing sales/marketing efforts to hit targets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year or five-year degree.
• Good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
• Analyze applicants' qualifications to determine feasibility of loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with officers and units related to processing/servicing loan applications.
• Review/update customer loan files to ensure adequacy for processing and booking.
• Execute sales/marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
