Job summary

BDO Unibank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Laguna to drive loan volume while maintaining profitability and credit quality. You will primarily meet clients in person via field visits, assess qualifications, and coordinate with processing teams to service loan applications.

The role emphasizes strong selling and customer service, daily field work, and basic math skills. A Bachelor's degree is required, and motorcycle driving is preferred where available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any four- or five-year course.
• Strong selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to perform field work almost daily.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with word processing & spreadsheets.
• Experience in microfinance and field sales is an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts via field visits.
• Analyze applicants to determine loan feasibility.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure quality.
• Coordinate with units involved in processing and servicing loans.
• Review loan files to ensure adequacy for processing.
• Execute sales and marketing activities to meet volume targets.
