MKS WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser/Chicken Cutter (Butcher) to join our Cabuyao City, Laguna team. This full-time role blends merchandising with skilled butchery to support the retail meat department and ensure product quality and safety.

You will cut, trim, and portion meat, display products attractively, label items correctly, and maintain hygiene across work areas. Customer service and inventory support are also part of the role.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a butcher, chicken cutter or similar meat preparation role in a retail environment.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency with butchery equipment and tools.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP principles.

• Cut, trim and portion chicken and other meat products according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Prepare and display meat products in an attractive and hygienic manner to encourage sales.
• Maintain accurate product labelling with correct pricing, weight and expiration dates.
• Ensure all work areas, equipment and displays are kept clean, sanitised and organised in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management for meat products.
• Rotate stock appropriately, ensuring older products are sold first (FIFO rotation).
• Maintain knowledge of product quality and freshness standards, removing any substandard items from display.
• Assist customers with product selection and special cutting requests.
• Operate and maintain all butchery equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and promoting meat department products.

This is a full-time position that combines merchandising expertise with skilled butchery work. As a Merchandiser/Chicken Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our retail meat department operates efficiently, maintains high product standards, and delivers exceptional customer service. • Physical capability to perform repetitive cutting and lifting tasks, handling weights up to 20kg regularly


• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high product quality standards


• Strong organisational and time management skills to work efficiently during busy periods


• Friendly, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Flexibility to adapt to changing stock levels and seasonal demands


• Valid food handling certification or willingness to obtain one


• Preferably based in or accessible to Cabuyao City, Laguna for commuting purposes
