Hirebiz Inc. seeks a Medical Virtual Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support to US-based healthcare providers.

The role involves coordinating patient care operations, managing documentation, and supporting healthcare delivery in a night shift, 100% onsite environment in Cebu City. The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of healthcare support experience, willingness to work the night shift, and strong communication and organizational skills; EMR/EHR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level alignment not required; Allied Medical graduates welcome.
• Experience in healthcare support, medical administration, or billing preferred.
• Willing to work night shift and onsite in Cebu City.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (ECW an advantage).

About the role

Provide administrative and clinical support to US-based healthcare providers as a Medical Virtual Assistant. This role involves coordinating patient care operations, managing documentation, and supporting healthcare delivery in a night shift, 100% onsite environment in Cebu City.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical support to US-based healthcare providers


• Coordinate patient appointments and documentation


• Verify insurance and process prior authorizations


• Assist with medical records, EMR/charting, referrals, and medical documentation


• Handle patient, provider, and insurance communications


• Provide billing and administrative support

About you

• Graduate of any Allied Medical course such as Nursing, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Midwifery, Nutrition and Dietetics, Biology, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or other healthcare-related courses


• At least 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in healthcare support, medical administration, insurance verification, prior authorization, medical billing, medical scribing, patient coordination, or related roles


• Willing to work night shift


• Willing to work 100% onsite in Cebu City


• Strong communication and organizational skills


• Experience with EMR/EHR and ECW is an advantage
