Job summary

Clark Outsourcing is hiring a Medical Virtual Assistant to support healthcare professionals with admin, clerical, and patient-related tasks. The role requires experience in the medical field, strong communication skills, and proficiency with healthcare systems and software.

You will handle scheduling, calls, billing assistance, EHR maintenance, dictation transcription, and patient intake while ensuring HIPAA compliance and secure handling of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant or similar healthcare admin role.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of billing, insurance processes, and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and reminders.
• Handle calls, emails, and messages from patients and providers.
• Assist with medical billing, insurance verification, and claims processing.
• Maintain and update electronic health records and patient databases.
• Transcribe dictations and prepare reports and correspondence.
• Conduct patient intake and gather medical history and symptoms.
• Provide admin support, manage documents, prescriptions, and lab results.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Assist with telemedicine appointments and virtual patient support.
• Perform other admin duties as assigned.
