Job summary

The Lead Tree - Clark Outsourcing is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant to provide administrative support to healthcare professionals onsite in the Philippines. The role focuses on appointments, patient communications, billing support, and HIPAA-compliant handling of patient data.

You will work with EHR/EMR systems, transcribe dictations, update records, and support telemedicine. Strong organization, medical terminology knowledge, and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Medical Virtual Assistant or healthcare administrative role.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and insurance processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• HIPAA and patient confidentiality knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and reminders.
• Handle calls, emails, and messages from patients and providers.
• Assist with medical billing, insurance verification, and claims processing.
• Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) and patient databases.
• Transcribe medical dictations and prepare reports, summaries, and correspondence.
• Conduct patient intake by gathering medical history and symptoms.
• Provide admin support, manage documents, prescriptions, and lab results.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Assist with telemedicine appointments and virtual patient support.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by healthcare providers.
