Job summary

Job Requirements

Summary of the Medical Devices Assistant role:

• Core purpose: Drive sales and gross profit, ensure timely renewal and compliance of FDA/BFAD licenses and permits, and keep store operations running smoothly in the Store Supervisor's absence.
• Sales performance: Meet assigned sales and margin targets; handle selling, POS transactions, quotations, product demos, refunds/returns, and customer complaints (with incident reports).
• Regulatory compliance: Maintain FDA/BFAD documentation confidentiality; display licenses; verify invoices/DRs/transfer slips include lot numbers and expiries; prepare and consolidate data for License to Operate (LTO) renewal 2-3 months ahead; notify FDA of any LTO-related changes.
• Customer service: Provide courteous service across counter, phone, and email; manage orders, receiving, and stock replenishment.
• Stock control: Monitor room/refrigerator temperatures daily; maintain clean, well-arranged, correctly priced displays; run regular cycle counts and mid-year-end inventories using FIFO; track expiries and return/transfer near-expiry, damaged, or unfit items; clean assigned areas.
• Reporting and records: Properly file documents; record monthly sales (including Senior/PWD discounts); prepare daily cash/check reconciliations; submit weekly/monthly sales reports; report delivery discrepancies (wrong, excess/short, defective, expired).
