Job summary

vamasters, Inc. seeks a detail-driven Multi-Entity Bookkeeping Specialist to manage the books for a growing real estate portfolio and an e-commerce brand across LLCs and S corporations. You’ll own reconciliations, entity maintenance, payroll setup, and CPA reporting.

Coordinate vendor payments, guide two junior team members, and ensure accuracy to the penny while adhering to US entity compliance across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Proven US bookkeeping experience across multiple entities.
• Strong knowledge of US entity compliance, including LLC and S corp filings.
• Experience with multi-state payroll setup and registration.
• Advanced account reconciliation across multiple accounts and payment platforms.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to supervise and review two interns.
• Strong written communication and ability to work asynchronously.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile income and expenses across multiple bank accounts, cards, and payment methods to the penny.
• Separate personal charges from business transactions across all entities.
• Maintain and update the real estate portfolio performance tracker.
• Review AI-generated bookkeeping entries for accuracy and fix misclassifications.
• Prepare and send monthly statements to the CPA.
• Keep the e-commerce books separate from real estate entities.
• Maintain annual filings and good standing for LLCs and S corporations.
• Set up payroll registration in two states.
• Coordinate with the property manager and contractor, reviewing and approving payments.
• Assign, supervise, and review the work of two interns.
