Job summary

Elite Virtual Employment Solutions (EVES) is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager/Controller to own the full accounting cycle across restaurant units and technology affiliates. You will close books, reconcile accounts, and produce clean financials, while building a scalable accounting function and mentoring a growing team to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.

In this role you’ll drive month-end close, intercompany activities, and reporting to ownership, balancing hands-on execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA is not required but is a big advantage.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including controller or assistant controller responsibilities.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and direct experience supporting U.S.-based companies.
• Proven ability to independently own a full month-end close start to finish.
• Demonstrated full-cycle reconciliation experience across multiple accounts and entities.
• Multi-entity and/or multi-unit accounting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable being the most senior accounting person in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end accounting cycle across multiple entities (restaurant units and technology companies).
• Produce accurate, timely financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for each entity and on a consolidated basis.
• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and accounting policies in line with U.S. GAAP.
• Perform and review all reconciliations: bank, credit card, merchant/processor, balance sheet, and intercompany.
• Reconcile daily restaurant sales to POS, deposits, and third-party delivery platforms.
• Resolve discrepancies independently and keep accounts clean and audit-ready.
• Oversee AP, AR, and payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and documented procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
• Document processes and create repeatable workflows.
• Grow into leading a small accounting team supporting the portfolio.
