Job summary

VXI GLOBAL HOLDINGS BV (PHILIPPINES) is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and productive end-user experiences.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong Windows and Office skills, and familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts. You will work in a fast-paced environment and may participate in user training and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years in an IT support role, preferably in a BPO or call center.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with Active Directory user and group management.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Customer-service oriented with a patient and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support for internal users via phone, email, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues including LAN, WLAN, and VPN.
• Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and other systems.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
• Document IT support requests, resolutions, and procedures in a ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors when necessary.
• Assist in deployment of new hardware and software.
• Conduct basic IT training for end-users as needed.
• Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and security best practices.
