Responsibilities

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between system records and actual stock levels
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, optimising working capital
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
• Train, supervise and mentor warehouse staff on proper inventory handling and documentation practices
• Coordinate with procurement, sales and logistics teams to forecast inventory requirements and plan for future demand
• Identify and investigate inventory variances, implementing corrective actions to minimise losses and shrinkage

About the role

As Inventory Control Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing all inventory operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with company standards. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, coordinating with warehouse teams, and implementing systems to optimise inventory processes. This position is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of our warehousing and distribution facilities and directly impacts our ability to serve customers effectively.
