• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Understanding of supply chain and logistics best practices
• Excellent communication across departments
• Certifications in inventory management are advantageous

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between system records and actual stock levels
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, optimising working capital
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
• Train, supervise and mentor warehouse staff on proper inventory handling and documentation practices
• Coordinate with procurement, sales and logistics teams to forecast inventory requirements and plan for future demand
• Identify and investigate inventory variances, implementing corrective actions to minimise losses and shrinkage
• Generate regular inventory reports and analytics for management review and decision-making
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations within the warehouse facility
• Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, transactions and audits
