Job Summary

The Inventory Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations with a strong focus on inventory accuracy, stock control, and team supervision. This role ensures efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability

• Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

• Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS/ERP systems

Warehouse Operations

• Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities

• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of materials

• Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for efficiency

• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams

Team Supervision

• Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff

• Assign daily tasks and manage work schedules

• Enforce company policies, procedures, and performance standards

• Promote a positive, disciplined, and productive work environment

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company regulations

• Conduct safety briefings and enforce use of PPE

• Maintain cleanliness and organization (5S standards)

• Report and investigate incidents or damages

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare inventory and operational reports

• Track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and shrinkage

• Support audits and management reviews

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)

• 3–5 years of warehouse or inventory management experience

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience required
