Job summary

DHL Express (Philippines) Corporation is seeking an Inventory Controller to oversee stock accuracy, policy implementation, and team leadership within our warehouse operations in the Philippines.

You will coordinate inbound/outbound activities, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while leveraging WMS for real-time visibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control all inventory activities to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
• Develop and implement inventory management policies and controls.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts and audits, and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with operations, planning, and customer service to support inbound and outbound activities.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Analyze inventory data and KPIs to drive accuracy, cost control, and continuous improvement.
• Lead, train, and supervise inventory staff to maintain high performance and compliance.
• Utilize WMS and other systems to maintain real-time inventory visibility and reporting.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, stock control, and warehouse operations
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools
• High analytical and data management skills to interpret inventory reports, KPIs, and trends
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Ability to conduct and manage cycle counting, audits, and reconciliations
• Solid planning and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Effective leadership and people management skills to train, coach, and supervise inventory teams
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with operations, planning, and customer teams
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance standards in warehouse environments
• Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives (process optimization, accuracy improvement, cost control)
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
