GJH SERCONS, INC. is seeking a licensed customs broker to manage import/export documentation, ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate with authorities.

The role involves preparing shipment and tracking reports, sharing regulatory updates, and optimizing customs-related processes to support cost-effective operations. The successful candidate will maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures, and collaborate with brokers, purchasing, and management to ensure

• Prepares and plots shipment reports based on container movement and delivery to importer's warehouse.
• Prepares tracking reports for all concerned departments for continuous supply management.
• Manages documentation for all import/export activities to ensure lawful execution.
• Communicates with import-related authorities to ensure efficient and cost-effective transactions.
• Maintains knowledge of import/export laws, tariffs, licenses and restrictions and shares with the team.
• Monitors, records, analyzes and reports on import activities and trends.
• Ensures timely preparation of reports and documents and compliance with government regulations.

Descrizione del lavoro

• Prepares and plots of shipment report based on the container movement of port and delivery to the importer's warehouse.
• Prepares tracking reports to all concerned departments for the purpose of continuous supply management.
• Manages the necessary documentation for the efficient, cost-effective and lawful execution of all import/export activities.
• Update and share with concern department's relevant imports laws & procedures.
• Communicates with import-related authorities to ensure efficient & cost-effective transactions.
• Maintains and shares with the team as appropriate personal knowledge of all relevant import/export law and procedure, tariffs and duties, licenses and restrictions.
• Monitors, records, analyzes and reports on activities, trends , results and recommendations relating to import activities.
• Compiles with yearly customs accrediation.
• Monitors accreditation and renewalof license from government agency concern with regards to importation activities.
• Communicates with import and related authorities and customers and vendors, in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations, support and activities.
• Adheres to local and externally relevant healthy and safety laws and policies.
• Communicates with Brokers for the shipment clearance.
• Communicates with purchasing with regards to demurrage, storage and detention.
• Optimizes cost effectiveness on the transport activities of the materials.
• Manages third party logistics and ensuring operators are meeting the required performance, addressing any failures and issues if any.
• Ensures timely preparation of reports and documents.
• Updates and informs Management of the current laws and regulations and ensures that all transactions comply with all government regulations.
• Ensure reports are maintained as required by the Management or for audit purposes.
• Creates and develops suitable SOP and Policies.
• Reports any incident or accident that may occur immediately
• Manages all PR and other documents.
• Performs other tasks as determined by immediate supervisor and/or Management.
• Complies and implements all Company policies adherence to Company Code of Conduct and Discipline and Safety Procedures.
