Job summary

Acquire Intelligence, a global outsourcer, is seeking an ICT On-Site Support and Build Area Staff to keep our technology infrastructure running and our people equipped to do their best work. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, deploy machines, and support work-from-home setups for on-site and remote users.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in IT support and hardware or software troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of network systems, operating systems, and IT hardware components.
• Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communicator who can explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
• Collaborative team player who works well across diverse groups and functions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware malfunctions and resolve equipment issues using knowledge-based tools and established procedures.
• Monitor and enforce user and system adherence to IT security standards.
• Operate and monitor operating systems, platforms, networks, servers, and software, escalating or resolving exceptions as required.
• Assist staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software.
• Evaluate and test equipment, network systems, and software tools, submitting recommendations to the shift supervisor.
• Document, track, and monitor IT problems to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Prepare and load computer equipment with required configurations ahead of operations.
• Gather and analyze information about user issues to determine and implement the best resolution.
• Act as a second layer of support for WFH users, including configuring VPN access and coordinating the logistics of technology deliveries for home use.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher levels of support in a timely and structured manner
