Job summary

Unilever Philippines is seeking a Channel Development Manager to drive growth across HORECA and RTM channels in Cebu, leading distributor partnerships and ensuring strong in-market execution. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on field activities to deliver sales targets and enhance brand presence.

The position requires at least 2 years in account management, leadership of distributors, and robust negotiation skills, with readiness for fieldwork in Cebu and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in Account Management.
• Leadership to manage distributors with operational skills on DT operations, DT salesmen management, AR, profitability, and customer service excellence.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Willing to be assigned in Cebu and conduct fieldwork in Cebu.

Responsibilities

• Deliver business targets for HORECA and RTM accounts (secondary sales).
• Execute local and national marketing plans (innovation, activations, campaigns) for both channels.
• Engage regularly with customers to strengthen relationships and implement contact/menu matrices across accounts.
• Apply AVA principles (Availability, Visibility, Activation) in managed accounts.
• Collaborate with Distributor Sales Reps/DT personnel to adhere to UL standards.
• Lead field merchandising teams to ensure efficient store operations.
• Plan and execute growth initiatives in retail and food service via cross-functional engagement.
• Collaborate with support functions to provide operators with services and solutions (ideation, masterclass, cooking demos, trend sharing).
