Our Clients in Cebu City is seeking an experienced Human Resources Head to lead the organization's HR strategy and ensure alignment with business goals. You will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, performance management, and HR operations, driving a high-performing workforce across onsite locations in Cebu City and Mandaue City.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • MBA (Master of Business Administration) is required.
  • 15+ years of proven experience in general facets of HR, including 5+ years as HR Head.
  • Extensive experience managing end-to-end HR functions, including talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, organizational development, and HR operations.
  • Experience in the automotive or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the organization's overall HR strategy in line with business goals and long-term growth plans.
  • Lead and oversee all HR functions: talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, HR administration.
  • Design and drive talent management initiatives: succession planning, leadership development, engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Ensure effective performance management processes and guidance to leaders on development and performance improvement.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs for competitiveness, internal equity, and policy compliance.
  • Promote a positive employee experience with engagement, collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Provide strategic coaching to management on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
  • Ensure labor law compliance and minimize organizational risk.
  • Lead employee relations initiatives including conflict resolution and policy implementation.
  • Oversee workplace health, safety, and wellness programs.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive continuous improvement across HR programs.

Role Overview

The Human Resources Head is responsible for leading the organization's overall HR strategy and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role oversees all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, performance management, and HR operations. The position plays a critical role in fostering a high-performing, engaged, and inclusive workforce while driving organizational growth and effectiveness.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is required.
  • With 15+ years of proven experience in general facets of HR, including 5+ years of experience as an HR Head.
  • Extensive experience managing end-to-end overall HR functions, including talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, organizational development, and HR operations.
  • Experience within the automotive or related industries is a plus.
Certifications
  • Professional certifications related to Human Resources and People Management (e.g., PMAP PSOF, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) are an advantage.

  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to provide insights, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across HR programs and processes.
  • Manage and optimize HR systems, processes, and policies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Prepare and manage the HR department's annual budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to organizational planning, business strategy, and overall company success.
