About the role
The HR Head is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall direction for the Human Resources function of the organization. The position oversees the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, programs, and systems that support business objectives, organizational growth, employee engagement, workforce productivity, and compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations. The HR Director serves as a strategic partner to senior management, providing insights and recommendations on manpower planning, talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, succession planning, and overall people strategy.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement the organization's overall HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
Provide leadership and direction to the entire HR Department.
Lead strategic manpower planning based on business requirements and organizational expansion.
Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition strategies for critical and high-volume positions.
Develop succession planning and career development programs.
Provide strategic direction on employee relations and workplace concerns.
Oversee the company's performance management system and establish performance standards and evaluation processes.
Provide strategic oversight of compensation and benefits programs.
Establish the organization's learning and development strategy and oversee training programs and leadership development.
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and government requirements.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
At least 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience in a managerial or senior leadership capacity.
Proven experience managing an HR department or multiple HR functions.
Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR best practices, and employment regulations.
Experience in strategic workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
Strong leadership, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong business acumen and ability to translate business objectives into effective people strategies.
Experience in a multi-branch, retail, or high-volume workforce environment is an advantage.
