Job summary

Hallmark Mining Corporation is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead all human resources activities for our mining operations in the Philippines. You will oversee recruitment, payroll, compliance, and employee relations while partnering with leadership to drive performance and development.

The role requires a strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and a proven ability to manage on-site HR processes in a demanding operational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience.
• Mining operations experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws and DOLE regulations.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
• Willing to work on-site at a mining location and adapt to operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding.
• Coordinate with department heads on staffing requirements.
• Handle employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary cases, and investigations.
• Ensure consistent implementation of company policies.
• Maintain positive employee-management relationships.
• Manage labor-related concerns and coordinate with employee representatives when applicable.
• Oversee payroll and benefits administration.
• Monitor employee compensation, allowances, leave, and incentives.
• Support leadership and career development programs.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Labor Laws, DOLE regulations, and company policies.

About the role

The HR Manager is responsible for managing the overall human resources functions of the mining operation, including manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training, and HR compliance. The position ensures that HR policies and programs effectively support business operations and comply with applicable labor laws and company standards.
